What should I look for in a senior pet photographer?

You should look for someone who has a strong bond with animals. Any photographer can take pictures, but you want a photographer for your special friend to be disarming to your animal. Very often we see animals that are very bonded with their person(s), but a stranger showing up with a camera can be unsettling. Your photographer should know how to connect instantly. Also, you need a photographer who can easily bond with people and be very sensitive to all the feelings you are experiencing around your animal. Particularly at end-of-life, emotions are running deep. You should have someone who can be sensitive to pet loss and your grief.
